Tap the + button on the Circles screen and choose a contact from your phone. You'll be prompted to assign them to a circle (1st–4th) and optionally set a contact cadence.

You can also import contacts in bulk from the Settings screen if you want to set up your circles quickly.

A cadence is how often crcls expects you to be in touch with someone. For example, a 1st Circle contact might have a weekly cadence, while a 4th Circle contact might be monthly.

crcls uses this to calculate whether someone is healthy (within cadence), drifting (approaching the limit), or needs attention (overdue). You can customise each person's cadence individually.

When crcls recommends reaching out to someone, it generates a suggested message based on context like how long it's been, the occasion, and any notes you've added. The goal is a message that sounds like you — not a corporate template.

You can edit any suggestion before sending, or ignore it entirely and write your own. crcls never sends anything on your behalf.

No, never. crcls is a suggestion tool, not an automation tool. Every message is drafted for you to review — you choose whether to send it, edit it, or skip it entirely. The goal is to reduce friction, not to put you on autopilot.

Almost everything stays on your device. Your contacts, relationship notes, cadence settings, and history are all stored locally — not on our servers.

You can delete individual contacts, notes, or your entire history from within the app at any time via Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete All Data. Deletions are immediate and permanent.

Alternatively, deleting the app from your device removes all locally stored data entirely — there's no server-side copy.

Yes. You can add people to crcls manually by entering their name and details without importing from your contacts. Contact access is optional and only used to make adding people faster.
